Printer's Apprentice is a powerful font manager for Windows XP/2000/Me/98/95.

Printer's Apprentice works with TrueType, OpenType and Adobe Type 1 (ATM) fonts*. Printer's Apprentice has tools for printing specimen pages and font lists for both installed fonts and uninstalled fonts on CD-ROMs and other media. You can look at every character of each font, see how fonts look in a paragraph, find symbol characters on the keyboard, and more!

Printer's Apprentice can also install and remove TrueType, OpenType and Type 1 fonts from your PC. You can install multiple fonts at one time and even preview the fonts before installing them! You can preview fonts from CD-ROMs, floppy disks and hard drive directories. If you have a CD-ROM filled with uninstalled fonts fonts, you can print a listing of every font on the CD as well as a character chart for each font.

* Font managment functions (install, uninstall, view & print uninstalled fonts) for OpenType and Type 1 fonts requires Windows XP or Windows 2000.

Virtual Font Folder watches a user specified folder for changes. When one or more TrueType (TTF) files are dragged to the folder, they will be installed in Windows for use by applications. When font files are removed from this folder, VFF will also uninstall them from Windows.

Here are a few scenarios where this can be useful.

• You may want to keep the required fonts for a project in a separate folder. While working on the project, drag the required fonts to the secondary font folder and they will be installed. When you are finished with the project, drag them out of the folder and they will be uninstalled.
• If you are a network administrator, you can ensure all the users on your network have the same set of fonts. Users install Virtual Font Folder on their workstations and point it to a network share. When fonts are added or removed from this folder, the changes will be replicated on the workstations in the network.

Please note: Virtual Font Folder requires the Microsoft .NET 2.0 runtime. If you do not have .NET 2.0 installed, the VFF setup program will download and install it for you. However we recommend downloading .NET 2.0 directly from Microsoft using the following link:

FontReview is integrated into the Windows Explorer interface and allows you to view and install TrueType and OpenType fonts with one or two clicks. You can view both installed and uninstalled font files! FontReview also shows a complete font character chart, the list of included kerning pairs and all the documentation contained inside a TrueType file!
